Juan Paulo Munevar is a Colombian-American actor, filmmaker, and multimedia designer originally from Miami, Florida where he studied Advertising with a Film Certificate at Florida International University.
Now based in Los Angeles, he leads the Nosotros creative team and aims to help the organization promote its vital mission to raise the LatinX voice in the entertainment industry. He hopes his work inspires Nosotros members and the collective LatinX community to feel supported and empowered.
As a DACA recipient, Juan is no stranger to adversity and hard-work. He is a strong advocate for civil and immigrant rights and his experiences have inspired him to use his skills as an artist to bring about a better narrative of the LatinX community in the United States. He hopes to tell dignified stories and help give a voice to those who don’t have one.
