Bio:
Jon began working as an actor the first year he moved to Los Angeles, he did not know a single person in “the business”.
He booked his first Studio Feature Film 6 months after he relocated. Since 2007 Jon has been working steadily and nonstop in television, beginning with the Emmy nominated HBO Limited series, Generation Kill written by David Simon & Ed Burns that premiered in 2008. Followed by Eight Seasons of ABC’s hit series, Castle, which aired from 2009 – 2017 and when that was canceled, he was snatched up by Dan Fogelman for the Emmy nominated series This Is Us on NBC where he currently stars as Miguel.
All three of the above mentioned series feature Jon as LatinX characters with the latter two characters being heavily influenced by Jon’s own Afro-Latino, Puerto Rican background.
